How a septic tank works

This video was developed by Judith Torzillo for Healthabitat, to help explain the process of how a septic tank works including:

• how to use the by-products of this process and,
• how often maintenance it needs to take place (notice the lady in the brown dress).

It was developed originally to help explain this system to villages in Nepal receiving and working on The Village Sanitation Project, but since landing on Youtube it is now a reference for people around the world.
